Posted: 12 Sep 2009 02:37 PM PDT  Samsung today announced WiFi enabled version of Star series of touch screen mobile phones .Star already crossed 5 million mark in sales , like LG Cookie which also comes with similar specs .The major disadvantage of Samsung Star touch phone for not having WiFi had been fixed in this update . Making it one of the best entry level touch phone ,Samsung Star WiFi boasts of all the specifications of the initial model including 3.2 mega pixel camera , 3 inch touch screen with Samsung TouchWiz UI ,FM radio with RDS , expandable memory upto 8GB ,music player and a good web browser .With WiFi the price of the phone will see a slight increase to around 250 USD ( apprx. 12000 in India ) . It will be marketed as Samsung S5230W Star WiFi in Africa ,India and other Asian countries.,  |
