The iPad Jailbreak Buzzes for the Apple iPad For weeks now there's been a lot of buzz about the upcoming jailbreak for the iPad, citing the leaders, developers and other jailbreakers to come up with the soonest update. Many posts have come out about how the iPad which is running iPhone OS 3.2 will cause a circus among followers scrambling to purchase their personal gadget. Personally, I think the greater portion of the buzz came after it was announced by Spirit which was largely responsible for the same jailbreak for iPhone. Posts abound say the iPad jailbreak does not pose the hassle of having to install any other software. But the talks, posts, comments and views don't end there. The iPad which was known to have been released, very soon will either have the Spirit for its first jailbreak or it could be the favorite, George Hotz. Interesting because fingers are drumming on the idea that the jailbreak is largely perceived to be a port of the untethered jailbreak for iPhone, something with George Gotz came up with a while back. More interestingly, many are also on the watch for jailbreaks from the iPhone dev team and the Chronic dev team as well. But this is not to say that the same will work well for the iPad, largely because the iPad has no USB connectors which allow easier docking and syncing of the device. These lenses are to be attached at the front of the fitted lens in your camera. Before purchasing, make sure your camera can be used with these add-ons. A +1 lens combined or threaded with +2 lens makes up a +3 impressive camera magnification. A smart choice when purchasing camera add-on lenses is to buy a set instead of individual purchases. With the methodological use of older exploits, these awesome guys have unexpectedly come up with jail breaking guide for the iPhone 4.0 OS, although this works on the Apple iPhone 3G only. It's indeed quite surprising to note that this iPhone jailbreaking for 4.0 was released without the mention of releasing iphone 3.1.3 jailbreak, perhaps the dev teams are clinged with the latest iPhone 4.0 OS and prefer it that way. In anyway, here is the guide to jailbreak iPhone 4.0 with Redsn0w 0.9.5 on your Apple iPhone 3g (Repeat: Not for iPhone 3GS). Use this for testing and educational purposes only. And finally, other iPhone firmwares cannot be unlocked! Strictly for iPhone 4.0 (Stressed this enough number of times to make sure you are aware of your doings) How to Jailbreak iPhone OS 4.0 Firmware With Redsn0w 0.9.5 Step 1: Download the iPhone OS 4 Beta for Apple iPhone 3G (If you are a developer you can get it from the Apple website, or you can also download the leaked version of iPhone 4.0from the web- iPhone1,2_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw) Step 2: Install the iPhone 4.0 OS beta on your iPhone 3G. Step 3: Download the latest redsn0w 0.9.5 from here. Launch it from your iPhone and point to the firmware (in this case it is: iPhone1,2_4.0_8A230m_Restore.ipsw) Step 4: You have to select "Install Cydia" and then click on "Next". Use DFU mode for installing jailbreak. Step 5: There will be no source to the Cydia when your iPhone 3G is back up and running, therefore go to Sources panel and add this repo: http://apt.saurik.com/cydia-3.7 (need carrier or wi-fi signal for this) Step 6: You'd notice that when Cydia restarts, the sources as in icons, logo would be visible and you're ready to use your Jailbroken iPhone 3G running 4.0 beta 0S.
